Booking a Tour with the Sacred Site Foundation of Southern Africa

Every Sacred Site Tour is unique, giving each individual an authentic experience of these ancient sites dotted around Table Mountain & Southern Africa, see here for a description of these Tours.

Dean Liprini grew up in Pinelands, Cape Town and from a young age has been hiking on Table Mountain.  For two decades he has been leading small & large tours to the Sacred Sites around Table Mountain & Southern Africa.  In 2006 he published a book on his many years of research "Pathways of the Sun - Unveiling the mysteries of Table Mountain & beyond", and in March 2012 he registered the "Sacred Sites Foundation of Southern Africa" as a Not for Profit Organisation aimed at creating awareness & community custodianship programs.  He is developing the Training Protocols for this unique form of guiding to visit Sacred Sites country wide.   The SSFSA has a funding programe you can join & contribute to saving these ancient Sacred Sites with a donation.

Individuals wanting personal guides, schools wanting outings for their pupils, companies wanting Team Building for their staff, families wanting a unique experience - all will remember a tour with Dean & his colleagues as very special time spent exploring the outer & their inner landscape.  After a tour with Dean you will understand these surroundings better & have a greater appreciation for the sacredness of our environment.

These sites can be visited by people of all ages, a medium fitness is generally required and the hike is usually 20 to 40mins to reach any one site.  The tours can include transport and refreshments on request.Muizenberg Dolman WSSS June 2012 3

Full Moon Gatherings - monthly in Cape Town

Full Moon ceremonyfull-moon-gatherings Full moon gatherings & ceremonies are added regularly to our EVENTS page.  These are held at specific Sacred Sites dotted around Table Mountain, each site forms part of the sacred "Diamond Grid of Light" of the ancient people who lived here from prehistoric times.  During these walks we share more on the significance of these sites and the reasons for using those particular sacred spaces for our meditations and prayers at that time. We also utilize the astrological / astronomical events surrounding the full moon to prepare herbal teas to further harmonize ourselves with the event and the surrounding "songlines".  Nature herself teaches us of the perfect harmony and the union of the opposites as the sun and moon are perfectly aligned with each other holding for a moment a state of balance, while we experience a position of centeredness, holding fulcrum between these two powerful forces - an awesome experience of the Yin and Yang. Times, Dates and Meeting Place can be found on the Events page. These gatherings request a Donation towards the work done by the Sacred Sites Foundation of Southern Afric (we suggest a R100 donation per person).

Summer & Winter Solstice, and Equinox Gatherings in Cape Town

Muizenberg Dolman WSSS June 2012 1During the time of the Summer Solstice (time of "Great Light"), one can truly feel the effects of our "Father Sun = our Fire of Life" as the yang rays embrace much of our Mother Earth.  This Union bringing forth an abundance of life and song, with multitudes of  food and warmth for All. The Ancient people around the globe recognized this special time of abundance and performed ceremonies to honor the Greatness of the occasion, the turning of the Sun as it reaches its peak the longest day or the highest zenith that it will reach that year. Cape town is at this time of the year literally "the land of the setting sun" and I believe was recognized as such and was a place of pilgrimage for many over  thousands of years. So as the fruits and grass seeds that feed us all ripen ... we too need to pay our respects to the GREAT SPIRIT the God Force / Life Source of ALL. Times, Dates and Meeting Place will be found on the Events page.Muizenberg Dolman WSSS June 2012 32
